Laurie Selik is Marketplace Productions' Manager of Editorial Relationships with 20 years management experience across several disciplines - filmmaking, advertising, marketing and now radio-making. Selik leads the organization in proposing, writing and successfully developing grants in support of Marketplace's editorial needs. Selik also creates new editorial partners for Marketplace Productions. Current partners include Reuters and The Economist Magazine. For MPR's R&D Initiative, Selik manages new program development including the production of several R&D pilots, such as Public Radio Weekend, Second Opinion and True West.
