This is The Savvy Traveler and I'm Diana Nyad.
I still love my Bob Dylan and Janis Joplin CD's, but I also get into Angelique Kudjo from Africa and just about any Cuban music. One of my favorite parts of this show is talking to Bob Duskis every few weeks. Bob finds artists who borrow influences from other music genres and cultures.
Bob has introduced me to new African, South American, Arabian, European and Asian sounds. And once again, Bob's here to take us far away by feeling the rhythms of new foreign mixes. And he's going to give us some ideas for last-minute Christmas presents.
