Spa Ideas
On the program I heard today, 7/11/98 broadcast on WBEZ, a woman
called asking for ideas about spas in the Midwest. This is not
exactly the Midwest, but it is not that far either--in Glenwood
Springs, CO there are hot springs and several hotels. Glenwood
Springs can be reached by train from Denver (or Chicago but it is a
long ride); it is a beautiful train ride from Denver. The hotels are
vintage. I have never stayed there, but I used to live in Aspen, and
I have spent a day or two in the hot springs pool. They also have
either mud baths or mineral caves.
