"Back in the summer of...'72"

I enjoyed the Icelandair story very much. When I flew it with my sister Lynn in the summer of '72 for the coming-of-age summer in Europe, it was indeed Icelandic and all the rage with college students. The youth fare was a terrific deal and stopping in Luxembourg was actually fun. We stayed in a little hotel once we arrived, and then took the train to Paris. Just about everyone we met traveling around that summer flew Icelandic. I remember two things very vividly about the flights: the stewardesses (as they were called then) seemed stunningly beautiful, and the food was actually good! And I recall the flights being actually fun -- which most certainly aren't today. Or was it callow youth??
