Favorite Travel Author

here are a lot of travel writers I enjoy, but my favorite travel book is Blue Highways by William Least Heat Moon. I'm a backroads traveler and this is the ultimate backroads traveling book. I read it one blistering hot summer in Wisconsin when I couldn't afford to take a real trip during my vacation. I covered all my clocks, took the book and an atlas to the swing on my front porch, and traveled the country's back roads.
