Smith Island complaint
The traveler to Smith Island was on the wrong island. Close by is
another island, Tanzier Island. It is much more isolated. The
residents do, in fact, speak an English dialect that sounds like
Scottish. The traveler should have gotten off the bus and spent some
time with the people on Smith. Appearances deceived her. She might
have discovered something.
