Perigord Noir, France
The British visit here. So do the Germans and, of course, the French
(some from as far away as Paris!). With the charm of Sarlat, the
magnificence of Domme, the grandeur of Castlenaud, the phenomenon of
la Roque Gageac, the splendor of Beynac, the discoveries of Les
Eysies, the 40,000-year history of the area, and a countryside that
displays God's imagination at its best, so why do so few Americans
know this section of the Dordogne?
I'm convinced that only decent Americans would follow through with a
visit to this unique area of the world. (Sorry, but I've seen too
many jerks abroad.) (And some might even learn that "Lasko" is
spelled L-a-s-c-a-u-x.)
