The Horrors of Row 25
Hi, Rudy.
I NEVER complain, but I think somebody should tell the airlines that they ought to remove the last row of seats on 737s. We recently boarded one of these planes for a five-hour trip, and were seated in row 25 -- the last row. Row 25 doesn't recline, but the seats in row 24 sure do -- pushing back to within inches of your face.
The non-reclinable seats combined with the bumpy back-of-the-plane ride and the proximity to the loo makes for a VERY uncomfortable flight. If the airlines won't remove the seats, travelers should try to book early to ensure they don't end up sitting in them.
Laurie
