Reflections of a Bluegrass Snow Poet
Greetings from the snowy Bluegrass! I enjoyed Tony Kahn's comments regarding the wonder of walking in snow, enjoying the quiet, and removing oneself from the hustle and bustle of quotidian life. It is for that reason that winter is my favorite season. Everything's better with snow. It CAN have its downside, though. In honor of the darker side of winter, I offer the following haiku:
Bird flies in strong wind
Ice on roadway treacherous
Man on cell phone wrecks
Warm regards,
Greg
