Tips for European Travel
Dear Rudy,
I have a couple tips for travelers headed to Europe. One, if you're going through France, particularly Charles de Gaulle, leave more time for transfers than you would in the USA. I have missed connections there several times on travel scheduled by my travel agent.
Two, be prepared for differences in phones. The sound of a dial tone or busy signal may be different than what you're used to. I have found that in countries where many people have cell phones, landlines are frequently difficult to use. You may want to rent a cell phone in the US before you go.
And three, if you travel with a computer, be aware that we're spoiled in this country by widely available broadband connections. They're rarely available elsewhere.

Three E-Z Steps to Effortless Road Travel in India
Dear Rudy,
I recently traveled to India and experienced many of the adventures of road
travel through Rajathan that you described on your show. Our driver told
us three things are necessary for driving in India. I think you'll be able to relate...
1. A Good Horn
2. Good Brakes
3. And Good Luck!
