This Week: Spring Break Memories

You know, there's a live web cam posted on the Millennium Dome 24-hours a day. Unfortunately, there's not much to see. The Dome just sort of sits there. It's probably not the place you want to spend your spring break. I mean, there are so many more interesting places you can go. And judging by the calls I got, you can also get sunburned or arrested. Heck, what better way to spend Spring Break? That's right, we're re-living our glory days of youthful indiscretion -- stories of Spring Breaks past.

First up is Ted, who got into a little trouble with the long arm. I asked Ted where he made his spring break memory.
Next up is Susan. Last year, during spring break, she drove from Indianapolis up to Chicago. Well, she tried anyway. A blizzard forced her to seek refuge at a roadside truck stop. I'll let her tell the rest of the story.
I can't think of anything much worse than being cooped up with scores of drunk people. That is until Phillip called with his story of hiking through Mexico's remote Copper Canyon with some friends. Let me set the scene: it was the fourth day, and everybody's feet were covered in blisters. So, they decided to hitch the last eight miles. I asked Phillip to take me back to that day.
Finally, here's Mark. Mark went to Florida with sunshine and a good tan being his ultimate goals. Until something stung him on the foot. He said it didn't hurt too bad at first. I asked him how that could be.

Some embarrassing moments aren't so easy to get over. And that's what I want to hear about next: your embarrassing travel moments. The ones you want to forget, but just can't. I'll make it easy for you. I'll go first. Now, everybody knows I'm always rushing everywhere. Well, one time I actually made it to my flight early. So I take out that book I always carry in my briefcase but never get a chance to read and I guess I got a little carried away. I look up and it's two hours later. I was alone at the gate and my flight had left without me. Some savvy traveler I am.
