If we had to sum up this past week's travel buzz in two words, we'd say baggage matching. The new Aviation Transportation Security Act requires that as of Jan. 18th, airlines must meet certain baggage screening requirements. Many are fulfilling the mandate by matching every piece of luggage to its corresponding passenger before a plane takes off. If the passenger doesn't get on the plane, the bag is removed. But bag matching is just the tip of the iceberg. The act contains a host of measures aimed at improving security. What progress is being made on the security overhaul -- and at what cost?
