A Hot Dog of a July 4th (...or Hamburger)
Have not traveled nearly as much as you but have spent some time
overseas.
The best holiday story was my first 4th of July at my job in Tokyo.
The only American in a office of over 2000 people. I had to mark the
day somehow. So the section that I worked in had about 12 people. I
told them we all went to Wendy's for the fourth in the USA.
A new Wendy's just happened to be up the street. so we all marched off
in suits and work uniforms for a hamburger lunch together and on the
company (cross cultural education)...
