Cruise Line Caution

Travelers need to be aware that cruise lines may offer reasonable rates on air arrangements, but the routing and schedule leave much to be desired. Since cruise lines tend to delay making air reservations until thirty days or so before a cruise begins, choice flights may not be available. I was told that if specific requests are placed sixty days before a sailing one might get a better flight package. Conclusion: if you leave it up to the cruise line expect peculiar connections with terrible flight times. This was our experience twice but never again. We'll pay the greater amount if needed to have good flights.
