Traveling on airplanes with children
Listening to your show today, while making rounds between
hospitals...someone suggested giving honey to kids to keep them
quiet...this should only be done for children over the age of twelve
months because of the risk of botulism...honey can contain spores of
botulism which sets up in the baby's gut and produces botulism toxin,
causing gradual onset of paralysis....obviously will keep the baby
quiet, but probably NOT what the parent had in mind.
Love your show, keep up the good work
Neil
